Children are welcome at Church of the Vine, and we believe the church is fully the church—the people of God—when children are present. Children are welcome to stay with their parents during the service or we have opportunities for them to participate in Children's Worship.

The Vision of Children’s Worship, the children’s ministry of Church of the Vine, is to offer a nourishing space for children to grow their roots in Christ and his Church. Our Children’s Worship Center is a place for the children and volunteers to spend time in worship on Sunday mornings.

Watch and hear the story of Children’s Worship at Church of the Vine ~ our values, our community of leaders, and how the Holy Spirit is at work.

Early Childhood Children’s Worship (6 months - PreK) is offered on the first, second, and third Sundays each month.

Elementary Children’s Worship (K - 5th grade) is offered on the first and third Sundays.

SAFETY & CHILD PROTECTION

In partnership with our diocese, Churches for the Sake of Others (C4SO)  a top priority in Children’s Worship at Church of the Vine is protecting children by creating a positive and healthy environment for children and students. A five-step approach is managed by our Congregation Coordinator appointed by the Rector.

The five steps include leadership:

  • Screening

  • Training

  • Interacting

  • Monitoring

  • Responding and Reporting

All Children’s Worship leaders have passed a background check and reference check and completed various training including MinistrySafe training. Please let Bethany Ramse know of any questions or concerns.
